What you will be doing
We are looking to recruit a Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team and be a part of something exceptional. You'll work in a cross-functional, agile team alongside a quality engineer, product manager, designer, and a delivery manager, all within a single autonomous team. We have a strong belief in empowerment, and by having the right skills and experience in the team, the team can work independently to define and deliver on our goals.
Our Tech Stack
TypeScript, NextJS, Playwright, Jest, NodeJS, AWS, LangChain & Python
Why join Vypr’s product team?
to build a brand new AI-Driven SAAS platform on AWS serverless
dedicate time for learning, attending/speaking at conferences and events
run regular knowledge-sharing sessions & quarterly hack days
write about the work we do in a blog (http://blog.vypr.it/)
What you will do
Develop our frontend website, backend platform and APIs using modern development standards, technologies, and techniques.
You will have an active role in all aspects of the development life cycle, from story refinement to deployment to production.
Write unit, integration, and end to end tests to ensure code quality.
Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable.
Proactively contribute to a team culture that values quality, robustness, and knowledge sharing
Research and evaluate new technologies that could improve the quality of our software
Contribute to the product blog
What you are good at
You have experience with TypeScript and Node.js. Proficiency with AWS Serverless architecture is essential. You possess skills in developing and managing APIs and are familiar with DynamoDB. Your understanding extends to backend caching, basic message queuing, and monitoring systems. Knowledge of CI/CD practices, automated testing techniques, and integrating third-party APIs would be advantageous.
Experience in frontend development is beneficial but not essential for this role.
You are well-versed in the entire software development lifecycle.
Building products that delight people while also being stable, scalable, secure, observable, and performant is something you're enthusiastic about.
You have keen attention to detail, are adaptable, and work well in a team.
You are keen to mentor junior engineers and help them grow.
You are up for sharing knowledge to strengthen the ability of the team.
You strive to be the best in the world at what you do and want to be surrounded by others who do so as well.
You have strong, well-informed opinions but are open to being convinced otherwise through thoughtful discussion and debates with your teammates.
You have a bias towards action.
You are a problem solver and spend your time figuring stuff out rather than explaining why it can't be done.
You are incurably & insatiably curious. You probably know the difference between baking soda and baking powder (if you don't now, you want to go and find out, don't you?).
You know when more analysis will help and when it's time to move on.
You have a genuine interest in technology and stay up to date with latest developments and trends.
